British feline icon, Jess the Cat from Postman Pat, was recruited to front the ‘Spot the Signs’ campaign by Boehringer Ingelheim to capture the attention of UK cat owners and raise awareness about chronic pain in cats.

On top of an exclusive stop-frame animation, encouraging cat owners to visit their vet practice to help them spot the signs, the campaign also included:

  • A report into ‘Chronic Pain in Cats’
  • An interactive website and Facebook page
  • Celebrity ambassador, Jenny Frost, discussing the topic and encouraging cat owners to visit their vet
  • An educational iPad app for sales teams to highlight the campaign to vet practices
  • Jess the Cat leaflets and posters for veterinary practices
