Within less than a year, we’ve helped strengthen the position of Bio-Oil as the must-have solution for stretch marks, scars, anti-ageing and dry skin. Our communications extends to both consumers and healthcare professionals – spanning nurses, midwives, GPs and pharmacists.
To follow the UK’s first ever ‘Bio-Oil Buggython’ in Battersea Park – a fundraising event for the British Skin Foundation – we created the Skin Stories campaign, designed to unearth the stories behind our scars and stretch marks and provide information for addressing any worries or concerns.
In a matter of weeks, the campaign had over 30,000 ‘likes’ on Facebook and had connected with thousands of mums through Mumsnet and key blogs. For every story shared on the Facebook page, £1 was donated to the British Skin Foundation.
Skin Stories was voted ‘Freshest Consumer Campaign’ at the Fresh Awards 2012.
