On Wednesday 1st, Heidi and I were up at 5am, on a train by 6.45am and in Richmond by 8.30am.The train at that time can be busy, busy, busy and you generally end up feeling like a sardine with a rather short life expectancy. So what were we up to?
No, we weren’t April Fools; we were off to an online educational video shoot with This Morning’s celebrity Chef Phil Vickery, the theme of the day being: Cooking safety tips and how to avoid disaster in the kitchen.
The reason for our crack-of-dawn early morning was so that we could get on the set, scope everything out, meet the crew, rig up the lighting (or rather watch the crew rig up the lighting) and generally prepare for our star Phil to arrive at midday. Thankfully, due to our two month preparation work, all of this went seamlessly and everything looked and sounded great on camera.
The star of the show made the whole thing fun, the crew knew exactly what we wanted to achieve, the photographer got the shots we needed in less than an hour and of course, working closely with our Thornton & Ross client, Claire Horne, was a pleasure.
The final edit happens on April 15th, so watch this space and www.burnsadvice.co.uk to see the result. We can’t wait to see the fruits of all our hard work, especially the highly amusing and not to mention flammable outtakes!
