Around this time every year, we welcome some new faces into the team as part of our work experience program.
The newest addition to the team is Fleurie Forbes-Martin, who is with us on a 40 week placement as part of her BA (hons) in Public Relations at Bournemouth University. One month into her post and we asked for a blog update on her experience so far…

My name is Fleurie and I joined Pegasus in August to complete a work placement as part of my degree. For anyone considering a placement at a buzzing consultancy, I’ll be dropping in from time to time share my experience about what it’s like being part of the Pegasus team.
I’m coming to the end of my first month now and I love it!
Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and there are so many opportunities for me to get my teeth into – so much to learn and so many projects to get involved with.
I have already spent some time with the healthy beauty team, who are always helpful – as well as a complete giggle – and looking after a range of products that are to die for. I’ve tried my hand at press release writing, flexed my creative muscles in the team brainstorms and kept the postman in shape by filling the post bags with journalist goodies. I’m learning lots from every job and developing my professional portfolio as I go.
There is a weekly fitness boot camp, exclusively for staff, run by Rob who sits opposite me. I’m not feeling the pain from the last session just yet, although I’m sure it’ll creep up on me later.
In terms of the actual office, I’ve never worked in a space quite like it. Every meeting room has been specially designed to have its own unique theme, one of them looks like the park on a sunny day equipped with grassy floor, trees and garden table. The staff room is uniquely kitted out like an American diner, which incidentally was the location for our 50s themed cocktail-mixing social this week.
All in all, it’s been a great first month, but I don’t have much more time to comment as I’ve got a busy afternoon ahead of me.
